Our Pastor
Pastor Wilck was born in Saltzgitter-Lebenstedt, Germany. He grew up in North Tonawanda, N.Y. where he graduated from North Tonawanda High School. Pastor Wilck is a 1972 graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia with a degree in Secondary Education English. Upon his graduation from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, Pa. In 1976 he was called as Associate Pastor at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Buffalo, N.Y.
In 1981 Pastor Wilck was called as Pastor of the First Lutheran Church in Strasburg Oh. Following a 5 year tenure in Strasburg he served congregations in Springfield, St. Mary's and Van Wert, Ohio.
Pastor Wilck and his wife, Deborah, of 32 years have taken up residence in N. Chili, N.Y. They have two children, Timothy, and Emily and four grandchildren.
Moving back to upstate New York is a homecoming for both Pastor Wilck and his wife. Their families still live in North Tonawanda and Allegany N.Y. They both look forward to their time in Rochester and ministry at the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour.
Paster Emeritus
At Our Saviour's 60th Anniversary Celebration on October 31, 2004 Pastor A. Sidney Kitts was named Pastor Emeritus.
