| Mission Statement: | To oversee and ensure the quality of worship through the Grace of god. To support and enhance the Christian life of the Congregation. To serve as the personel committee for all on staff. To serve as a support group to the Pastor. |
| Meetings: | Elders meet once per month after the 11:15 Sunday Service for about 2 hours. Sub-committees meet once to twice per month. |
| Our Activities: | Elders support at all worship services, regular Sundays and special mid-week services. Serve as motivators for special worship activities: Christmas and Easter Pageant. Instigate activities such as Breakfast with Santa Claus. Encourage community use of the building during the week: Cub Scouts, Brownies, Flute Lessons, Bridge Club. Motivate the creation of youth choirs, chime choirs, bell choir, special music opportunities. Visits to members who are experiencing medical issues, need special help, help provide meals, help distribute communion for shut-ins, etc. Support the Pastor during Funeral and Memorial services. |
